BeGOAT x Run Like Hell 2022 Event Recap

BeGOAT x Run Like Hell 2022 Event Recap

Run Like Hell is an annual Halloween-inspired fun run hosted in Portland, Oregon. Hundreds of competitors sign up to run either a 5k (3.1 miles), 10k (6.2 miles), or a half marathon (13.1 miles). Most participants wear a Halloween costume, making this fun for the entire family and an exciting spectator event. This year’s costume theme was retro video games!

Terrapin Events dedicated the 2022 Run Like Hell event to raise $5,000 for the Special Olympics Oregon. 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of Special Olympics Oregon. For those who aren’t familiar, the Special Olympics Oregon “brings year-round sports training and competition to children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through the challenges and triumphs of real competition, we serve Oregon’s largest disability population by celebrating their abilities. And by competing, athletes experience life-changing opportunities to improve physical fitness, learn everyday life skills and connect more closely to their communities.”

Terrapin Events hosts several different running events throughout the entire year. From obstacle mud runs to a virtual New Year’s run, there certainly is an event for anyone to participate in! You can help Terrapin Events raise funds for the Special Olympics Oregon by signing up for one of their events here.
